Anodising and passivating

Aluminium refining — individual and series parts

Anodised coatings impress with their great functional and decorative properties. The aluminium oxide layers have a metallic character but are not conductive. The process guarantees excellent corrosion protection, very good adhesion and high wear resistance.

protection, very good adhesion and high wear resistance. Due to the good colourability of the layers and various mechanical or chemical pretreatments, there are many possible variations options in the decorative area. For example, the combination of pearl jets and glosses creates very fine surfaces with a high-quality feel.

Passivations have only very low layer thicknesses and are an ideal bonding base for subsequent paintwork. In contrast to anodised coatings, they offer very good conductivity with low surface resistance. Despite the very thin layer — barely visible to the eye — our SurTec650 coatings even meet corrosion protection requirements according to MIL standards (336 h salt spray test) and are of course RoHS and REACH compliant.
